Chris Koerner
Christopher James Koerner is a motivated serial entrepreneur and currently the CEO of Phone Restore, his latest venture. Phone Restore offers mobile device repair and recycling services for corporations and individuals. Phone Restore was a bootstrapped venture that grew very quickly to become the largest smartphone repair chain in Alabama, with three locations in the state and franchises opening nationwide. Phone Restore was ahead of the curve by offering smartphone recycling services before companies such as Best Buy, Target and AT&T.; Chris quickly learned time management as he was operating the company's first two stores while still a full time student at the University of Alabama.
Chris's business was directly affected by the April 2011 tornado that swept through the Southeast just two weeks before he was supposed to graduate from college. Learning to overcome obstacles such as this has helped Chris to develop into a seasoned and risk aware business owner. Chris credits much of his success to motivation drived from naysayers he has encountered throughout his life.
Chris has recently been recognized by the University of Alabama as the statewide Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner.
