Match Made in Mitchell, SD Launch Leads to Real Connections for Students, 2011

The moderator flashed a look of disbelief.
Ben wanted to bring an organic farm to Mitchell. Seated to his left was Josh, inventor of a method to grow organic crops twice as fast. Match Made in Mitchell.Apparently highway 90 and 37 aren’t the only connecting roads in Mitchell. The journeys of over 300 students,educators, and stakeholders in entrepreneurship, packed neatly in the Sherman Center auditorium,crossed paths at a furious pace.
Dakota Wesleyan University hosted them. Local reporter Don Jorgensen introduced them.EET speakers Nick Friedman and Kathleen Wright inspired them.
Then there was Kara and Natalie who had a business they were mulling called “Skinny Coffee.” They couldn’t contain their joy when experienced entrepreneur Jenna Aukerman spoke on the panel. She is the owner of Coffee Roasterie & Expresso Bar. Match Made in Mitchell.
