What a great event we had at Clarksville, Tennessee. By listening to participants’ challenges, and working hard through the sessions, the 200 attendees found solutions and inspiration.
The participants attended with questions and doubts on how to start or maintain a local business. They showed they were passionate and committed to the idea of starting a local business by just taking that first step.

This is Ioannis sporting is "work uniform" for Flexy, the app that allows you to text without looking!
During the event, Arel Moodie kept encouraging the attendees to take action on their projects and not to be afraid of mistakes or FAILING. David Gardner kept everyone’s attention with his entrepreneurial lessons on how important it is to work hard, and how he stepped out of his comfort zone and took risks to accomplish his dreams and GET IN THE GAME.
Ioannis Verdelis co-founder of Syntellia told his story about how he has taken opportunities, failed and learned along the road of success. This event was his very first as an EET Speaker and you would never be able to tell! We love Ioannis because even though he is SO busy at work (like all of our entrepreneur speakers) he took two overnight flights so he could make an Extreme Impact in TN. He flew overnight to arrive in Nashville on the morning of the event and then caught a flight back to CA on the very night of the event. Talk about an EXTREME JET-SETER!
After the two speakers gave their presentation, many students approached them to chat about their ideas and asked for advice. Many local entrepreneurs assisted the event and participated at the panel of questions. This was a great way to close the event. Thank you to the College of Business at the Austin Peay State University for inviting us, we look forward to seeing you all again!

We had a great event at Raleigh NC. Something unique about the event: the audience. People at Wake Tech Community College were great and the entrepreneurship spirit was huge. Many people who attended the event are already entrepreneurs with big plans for their businesses.

This event was also very special because it was the first time Sarah Farzam (Bilingual Birdies) presented with the extreme tour, after the event she felt “Proud to represent for female entrepreneurs”. Also, Duane Spires (Extreme Youth Sports Inc.) had a great presentation, he gave the students a really good example on how to start their own business and recruit people to help them running it.
A highlight of the event was the closing panel. There were many students in the audience who are already working on their businesses’ ideas so the questions to the panelists where straightforward to their own challenges, asking for advices and tips. We were blown away with how many entrepreneurs we found in Raleigh!
The event was littered with entrepreneurs! Local entrepreneurs like Anthony Pompliano, Justin Harris, Kevin Cortez, Eunique Browder, and Gerardo Serrano came out to share their knowledge with the audience both on the panel and in side conversations.

“Who knows how to swim?”
This question was posed by tour speaker Shradha Agarwal in her debut speaking presentation. She set up a nugget of wisdom about entrepreneurship by relating how she learned to swim.
In the third grade, after expressing interest in learning how to swim, her mom pushed Shradha the pool to overcome the fear. With a little “push” from her mom, Shradha eventually figured it out. Taking the dive, even in face of fear and criticism from others, can lead to life’s greatest joy. This is an essential trait for entrepreneurs. More than 300 energetic high school students packed neatly into the West Plains Civic Center, nodded in enlightenment when Shradha related her experience.
In a touching moment, one EET attendee shared her experience in pole-vaulting. Going for it against the wishes of her doubting friends.
The result? She fell on her face, just as they said she would.
Did she regret it? Not for one moment. She faced a challenge with overwhelming courage.
Both Shradha and the EET attendee learned at a young age they had the courage to pursue dreams in uncertain moments. A great lesson indeed!
