4 Amazing Events in 36 Hours!
Early in October, we presented four events in Mansfield, Ohio. In less than 36 hours, we were able to inspire college students, high school students, small businesses owners, and community leaders.
- The first event was open to the public. Several educators and influential leaders attended this event to learn how to implement entrepreneurship in their schools and communities. The program focused on informing the public about the importance of entrepreneurship.
- Our audience for the second program consisted primarily of college students from across Mansfield. Most of the students were familiar with entrepreneurship but needed guidance on how to actually take what they learn in the classroom and implement it into the real world. Co-founder and America’s Top Young Speaker, Areal Moodie, provided simple steps and stories that helped students become more confident in pursuing their dreams as entrepreneurs.
- The third event was exclusive for Mansfield High School upperclassmen. We really enjoyed this event because the students were upbeat and participated at a high level. We also had a dance contest and a lot of cool prizes. They left with a paradigm shift, understanding that entrepreneurship is a great and realistic way to have a fulfilling life.
- The final event was a four-hour workshop and panel, which included local entrepreneurs as well as two of Ohio’s top entrepreneurs under the age of 30. The two tour speakers were Jason Ross, founder of JackThreads.com, and serial entrepreneur Rob Nicholson. The audience was able to ask in-depth questions and receive practical information.
Through this great opportunity of having four programs in less than two days, we learned that our programs are helpful for any audience that is interested in entrepreneurship and business.
Also, when you work with the Tour, you never really know what great things to expect. During our final event, North Central State College and the Tour were able to organize a FLASH MOB. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, and perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time. The flash mob was conducted by a group of dancers who specialized in Latin music. Let’s just say that the audience did not only learn time-tested and proven strategies to succeed in entrepreneurship, but also how to shake their hips!
Nothing yet.
