Will Pearson
Will Pearson is the president and co-founder of mental_floss, the quirky magazine that teaches you everything you should have learned in school but didn't.
Will and co-founder Mangesh Hattikudur launched mental_floss from a Duke University dorm room in 2001. Despite having no background in magazines (or perhaps because of it), Will and Mangesh have somehow won the favor of the publishing gods. The magazine has received rave reviews from the national media, including Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post and The LA Times and was recently chosen by The Chicago Tribune as one of its "50 Favorite Magazines." Over the past eight years, Will and company have seen mental_floss blossom into a multi-million dollar brand, with 10 bestselling books, a board game, a website with over four million monthly readers and a line of quirky gift products such as Law School in a Box, Med School in a Box and the recently published MBA Degree in a Box.
In the fall of 2007 Will was named to Inc magazine's "30 Under 30: America's Coolest Young Entrepreneurs" and his company has been named to the Inc last of fastest-growing companies in America for the past two years.
