Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour bound for Stark

CANTON – The spirit of American entrepreneurism is poised to take the area by storm on Oct. 4 at Stark State College with The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour – the first-ever collegiate entrepreneur tour – from 3 to 7 in the Silk Auditorium.

It is committed to helping students and members of the community succeed in the changing economy. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are suggested. Stark State recently started an entrepreneurship option in business management technology.

Presented by VenturePort.org and sponsored by Inc. Magazine, the tour was founded by award-winning 25-year-olds, Michael Simmons and Sheena Lindahl of Extreme Entrepreneurship Education. The tour is comprised of many of America’s top young entrepreneurs who have earned millions in business, sold a company for millions and/or made a huge impact before the age of 30. The vision of the tour is for all to embrace an entrepreneurial mindset.

This event will provide inspiration and practical advice. Both emerging entrepreneurs and students of all disciplines are invited to attend to learn how they can apply the entrepreneurial mindset to their lives regardless of career choice.

In addition to Stark State College, co-sponsors include Alliance Chamber of Commerce, Alliance Development Foundation, Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce, Lake Township Chamber of Commerce, Lake Township Development Foundation, Louisville Chamber of Commerce, Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce, Massillon Development Foundation, Minerva Chamber of Commerce, North Canton Chamber of Commerce and Stark Development Board Inc.

The Business Technology Division at Stark State College is coordinating the program.
